The Greatest Thing on Earth!
...Is having good friends to share our beloved hobby/sport of Airsoft with! So have fun and be safe!
Always remember to wear eye protection whenever Airsoft guns are loaded. That means on and off the field, too. Treat your gun as if it was a real gun, by using caution to stay aware of your environment. It is also good to remember that eventhough you and your friends may know its an Airsoft gun others may not. There are a lot of scared and paranoid people out there and they wont hesitate to call the authorities if they feel threatened. Keep your guns in a bag, box or case and store them in your trunk or at least out of arms reach while traveling to prevent any misunderstandings from other motorists or police.
Basically its all about common sense. Everyone wants to have good time and enjoy themselves. Don't let your frustrations win over your emotions if you get aggravated by another player. Take a moment to relax and remember its just a game and not life or death.
I'm sure most of you already have a full understanding of gun and Airsoft safety, but its important enough to reinforce every so often.
Oh, and one other thing. We have a lot of people ask, "Can i take this on an airplane?" It seems we do our best to answer this controversial and all together awkward question, but it never seems to ever get fully addressed. This post could easily triple in length if i where to delve in the socio-political paranoia associated with the idea of carelessly traveling with a replica weapon. The best advice with all things of manners like this is to call ahead. Call the airline, the airport or even the FAA!
Thank you,
Airsoft Atlanta Staff.
